Sheffield Wednesday v Brentford

Foresteri heads home his 12th for the Owls this campaign, putting them 1-0 up 12 minutes into the first half, 8 minutes after Brentford's Yoann Barbet was dismissed for bringing Hooper down when he was through on goal. Wednesday used their man advantage to create a further 3 goals in the match, with strikes from Gary Hooper (now into double figures for goals scored since arriving in late October), Kieran Lee (who has netted 5 times this season) and Lucas Joao (his 6th of the campaign). Hooper's strike was voted the SkySports News HQ goal of the day, his second goal of the day in a row! It does, however, have to be said that Brentford still troubled the Wednesday defence at times, with Alan Judge coming close a handful of times. The match closed at 4-0, taking Wednesday up to 5th in the SkyBet Championship and making them the league's top scorers (49).
